The Compromising of Integrity, Morality & Principles in Exchange for Money Tour will kick off in Norfolk this October before it makes its way across the US. Supporting All Time Low will be Mayday Parade, The Maine and Every Avenue.

A good friend of mine has pointed out that the emails for contest submissions have been bouncing back to her and probably a few others! If you’re still interested in entering the contest, I’m postponing it for another week. You guys have until August 2nd now! Another one of my favorite bands hit the stage. Not only did they deliver an exciting and energy packed set but they also introduced new music. A lot of you are already familiar with their latest single, “About A Girl“. I definitely saw the single leak floating around the internet on places like FBR_T and such. Either way, I was really happy about catching a few minutes of their performance before being rushed off to an interview or catch another band. I will admit, I did not see the entire thing but from the first few songs, I will tell you that you won’t be disappointed at all. There isn’t much else I can tell you about these guys that I haven’t already told you! They’re in the top 20 list for our summer and they should (hopefully) be on yours as well.

Didn’t catch their set or didn’t go to warped? Perfectly fine. As usual, I snapped some photos for you guys to check out and hopefully by the weekend, I’ll have a few more to add to the collection.

Regarding the contest: A lot of people asked me exactly what time today the contest ends. It ends tonight at 11:59 PST. So make sure you get them in by 11:59 West Coast time! And keep your eyes peeled. I have a new contest for you guys this weekend which I’m sure everyone will want to take part in.

Mayday Parade is definitely another one of the bands you need to be checking out this summer. This is their second running with Warped Tour and they are heating up the stage even more than they did last year! I had the opportunity to sit down with two of the guys backstage and just discuss all of the craziness that is warped tour plus a few other things that you’ll just have to stick around to see for yourself on an upcoming podcast. These Florida natives are making their mark in rock music right now and it’s pretty obvious once you hear a bit of their music that they’re here to stay. I strongly recommend everyone checking their set out when they hit your town for Warped Tour. It was a lot of fun and they put on an intense show. I’ve never seen so many crowd surfers at one time! Even the security guards had to warn us photographers of what was to come for this particular band. I guess there’s your answer if you were wondering if they could work the crowd. Hell yes!

Missed Mayday Parade at Warped or miss Warped in it’s entirety? That’s fine. I took photos of the boys just for you guys. Enjoy and I’m sure I’ll have more for you all within the next few days.
